“Petersfield sits to the east of the city centre, stretching from the railway station in the south to St Matthew’s Piece in the north. Bisected by Mill Road, it represents a true cross-section of Cambridge.
Petersfield is represented by three Labour city councillors – Kevin Blencowe, Ann Sinnott and Richard Robertson – and the Labour county councillor Linda Jones.
Labour’s priorities for Petersfield are:
Make the railway station area safe for cyclists and walkers
Build the Chisholm Trail cycling route under Mill Road bridge to the station
Affordable housing and community centre on the Mill Road depot site
Improve our green spaces and children’s play areas
Tackle commuter parking on side streets and provide more cycle parking
Resurface roads, reduce potholes and improve pavements”
