Coldhams Lane Resident and Romsey Labour Party Member, Paula Downes, has set up this petition

Paula Downes says “The people in the Coldhams Lane area are badly served by buses: the 114 runs 4 times a day, Monday to Saturday, between the City Centre and Addenbrookes, between 9.45am and 2.10pm. The 19 runs once a day, Monday to Friday, just after 10am on the way into town, and 12.25 on the way back.

Given that Coldhams Lane is a preferred route to the Beehive Centre, Cambridge Retail Park and into town, more buses could reduce traffic, which in turn would support the carbon reduction sought by the City Council – more so if the buses came from surrounding villages”.

We call on Cambridgeshire County Council, Greater Cambridge Partnership and the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to provide a more frequent bus service on Coldhams Lane to serve the local community and cut down on congestion along this road.

Thank you

Paula Downes (Coldhams Lane Resident, Romsey Labour Party Member)
