I have lived and worked in and around Cambridge for 21 years and now live in Romsey. I love the diverse and strong community here and the friendly and supportive people who make it such a great place to live. During this pandemic I have been moved by the care and concern shown by neighbours for each other and I am proud to have been able to work as a City Councillor in supporting them.

I have been particularly focused on our environment In Romsey and in improving and increasing our green spaces which are so important for our health and well-being. Coldhams Lane will be the focus of the City Council’s ‘Green Canopy’ project in the autumn and new trees are being planted all around Romsey.

Improvements to our roads and pavements are now planned and the zebra crossing by Coldhams Lane roundabout has been repainted and repaired making it safer for residents to cross.

Together with my husband we have started the Romsey Music project which aims to bring accessible concerts in a variety of styles to the heart of the community. Currently, we have a full programme of free lunchtime recitals at St Philip’s Church on Mill Road and more concerts are planned.
