Many people have contacted County Councillor Jocelynne Scutt about problems associated with the changes at this junction. Cars heading down Milton Road toward Mitcham’s Corner are using the cycle lane to avoid cars turning right into Gilbert Road.

“I am working with Council Officers to see how this can be resolved.” says County Councillor Jocelynne Scutt. “There are benefits from the new layout, but this has introduced some dangers for cyclists  who must be protected.”
