After 7 years of campaigning for better buses on Milton Road, SUCCESS!

Cllrs Jocelynne Scutt and Mike Sargeant started the campaign in 2013 and together with Alex Skinner have raised the issue with Stagecoach, James Palmer Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and Cambridgeshire County Council.

• The Milton Park and Ride will serve Union Lane and Mitcham’s Corner from 15th March
• An enhanced Guided Bus will serve Union Lane and Mitcham’s Corner from 29th March

“1000 people work around Mitcham’s Corner” says Mike “and it is great that commuters to our area will now have options rather than the car. It also means that local residents will be able to catch the bus to both Cambridge Stations, St Ives and even Peterborough.

We will be campaigning for other stops to get the benefit of these buses”
