City Councillor for Coleridge Ward
Rosy was elected as a Coleridge City Councillor in 2016.
Rosy is Executive Councillor for Environmental Services and the City Centre, which includes responsibility for the city centre markets, environmental health, air quality, licensing, the council’s fleet and garage, tourism, recycling and waste services including waste reduction, and the council’s climate change initiatives.
Rosy also sits on Licensing Committee and is the Vice-Chair ofEast Area Committee.
Her particular interests are reducing waste and creating a circular economy in Cambridge, making Cambridge a more people-friendly city particularly for residents, improving air quality including in Coleridge and helping to shape the city as it grows to ensure that it works for all our residents.
Rosy is originally from London but has lived in Coleridge since moving to Cambridge in 2004. She has four children, works in a local chocolate factory and plays hockey for Cambridge Nomads.
