City Councillor for King's Hedges ward
Kevin has been a King’s Hedges Ward Councillor since 2011. He has held many leading roles in that time, was key to the City Council achieving £70m for building council housing in the city during the negotiations to form the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. That money is being used to build in excess of 500 much needed council homes across the city. He is currently vice-chair of the Combined Authority Overview and Scrutiny committee.
Kevin is also a Trustee of the ‘Red Hen Project’ a small local charity working with five primary schools in North Cambridge, based at King’s Hedges Primary School. The project works with and supports children and their families to overcome barriers to learning and provides a link between home and school.
