Labour were as much part of getting the pavements straightened in Mill Road as anyone else.  Claims by the LibDems that it was their campaign that got this funding are not the whole truth.  This was a joint effort with Labour and also included the Mill Road Traders Association.  In political terms it was all the local county councillors and resulted in £287,000 being allocated to repair the pavements.
Then straight away people park on the pavement and start to undo the good work  (January 2014).

Dave asks – How would you stop cars and delivery vehicles parking on the pavements?
