Cambridge Labour Party Cambridge Labour Party
Romsey Labour Party decided that their involvement with Mill Road Fair in 2013 would be to raise money for a local cause. They chose Romsey Mill.
Romsey Mill, established 33 years ago in Cambridgeshire, works with around 3,500 individuals each year targeting specific groups – young parents, young people struggling to engage with mainstream education, families with pre-school children, young people with autistic spectrum conditions and youngsters who are at risk in our community.
For three weeks before the fair Dave visited local shops to collect prizes for the Tombola. People were very generous and on the day we had enough prizes to attract customers and sell tickets. The day was good fun and the spirit of the fair made working a pleasure.
