Liz Kendall Social Care Event: 6th October 2020 6pm
The Covid-19 pandemic has revealed the strains the social care sector is under, and the Tories have suggested plans for big, controversial changes in its delivery. What challenges has the system faced this year? How should Labour respond? What should our policy be?
We are thrilled to say that on Tuesday 6th October, 6pm-7pm, we will be joined by Liz Kendall MP, Labour’s shadow minister for social care, for an open discussion of the future of social care and Labour policy. Also contributing will be Daniel Zeichner MP and other experts including Cllr Linda Jones, professor of health and member of the Cambridgeshire County Council health committee.
The meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday 6th October, 6pm-7pm.
We have a limited capacity for this meeting and attendance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to be at the event please fill out the form and we will email you with the Zoom details a day before the event.
Please come along to bring your views, questions and ideas for Liz Kendall – we’ll see you then!
