New library and community building for Ascham Road –  Have your say

The County Council has lodged a planning application for the redevelopment of Milton Road Library.  The new building will replace the existing library which unfortunately has structural problems. Flats on the upper two floors will pay for the cost along with developer contributions through the City Council for enhanced community facilities to be provided alongside the library on the ground floor.

Residents will be able to view the plans at Milton Road Library and we are seeking to ensure officers will be present to discuss and hear residents’ views. The deadline for comments is Friday 5th August.
