Labour County Councillors Paul Sales and Jocelynne Scutt worked hard with local residents on getting Victoria Road includedVictoria_20mph.png in the consultation for a 20mph zone.

The Highways and Community Infrastructure Committee of the County Council will now make the decision on whether to support Cambridge City Council and residents in making Victoria Road 20mph.

It is the County Council’s decision, because Victoria Road is an A Road and ‘a key strategic route’ unlike the other roads designated as 20mph locally.

It is therefore vital that we keep up the pressure. You can do this by attending the meeting:

10.00am, 20th January – Highways and Community Infrastructure Committee, Kreis Viersen Room , Shire Hall
