More buses. More stops. More bus journeys. That’s what you tell us especially on Milton Road.

In Cambridge only 6.6% of journeys to work are by bus. in Oxford it’s 15.7%.  Councillor Jocelynne Scutt and 

Mike Sargeant have spoken to local Stagecoach boss Andy Campbell who says he only runs buses for profit and won’t change the 1,2,8 or 9 buses.

Only Labour are committed to bringing back regulation of buses – so councils can set bus routes serving the public 

Stagecoach’s Andy Campbell has committed to the Guided Bus stopping at the Arbury Road and Union Lane junctions if the County Council improves the bus stops there. Jocelynne is working to have this happen. Meanwhile, we have secured electronic bus timetables at more bus stops in Chesterton Road and Milton Road.and  fairer fares!
