Jocelynne Scutt met with Andy Campbell, Managing Director  of Stagecoach to discuss your concerns about buses.

While adamant that he will not reinstate buses along Chesterton Lane, he is prepared to stop the Guided Bus at the Arbury Road  / Milton Road junction. This offer is subject to the County Council improving the bus stops.

Jocelynne said “He was very open and to the point, stressing that Stagecoach are a commercial operation  and he must make a profit on all routes.

Labour nationally is committed to bringing back bus regulation. Meanwhile, I will work with the County Council to make sure every opportunity is taken to improve local services.”
