The consultation on the planning application for the relocation of the high-power radar is now open.

The radar certainly must move from its current location but many people, including local Labour Cllrs Haf Davies and Alex Bulat, are concerned that the new proposed location is still too close to residents’ homes and would have a negative impact in terms of visual impact, noise, and light flicker. The radar will also be very visible from Coldham’s Common. Marshall should look again for another location, further away from residents’ homes.
