Jane is a 30-year-old Social and Political Sciences student at Lucy Cavendish. Before coming to Cambridge she worked as a community support worker with people with learning disabilities, and as a full-time officer with the GMB Union. She has also spent time volunteering with the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Jane says, "My personal priorities are improving street lighting and making Castle a safer place to live. I'm also a big anti-racism campaigner and organized a workshop to tackle the rise of the racist BNP."
